Here is a quick little march based on the "March" variation of my Jingle Variations, written for the Catawissa Military Band. It is written in a style similar to Sousa/King - which means the horns get lots of back beats! It would be a good curtain-raiser for a high school or community band. All parts fit on one page except for the Percussion 1 (snare and bass drum) part in case you need to use a drum set instead of separate instruments. Do not print this part double-sided.
Print on 8.5" x 11" paper.
The score should be printed double-sided on 8.5" x 11" 32-lb paper stock and spiral bound at your local office supply store. The score is 13 pages (7 sheets of paper). |
